“We tried three inventory tools. None of them knew what a derailleur hanger was. This one does, because I told it.”

Where it started

Loop Bikes has two shops and one stockroom that used to be three spreadsheets. Parts went missing between locations, and reordering happened whenever someone noticed an empty shelf.

What they built

Stockroom scans barcodes with a phone camera, tracks parts across both shops, and sends a message when anything drops below five units. Suppliers are a simple list with a reorder button next to each part.

What changed

Both shops count from the same list now, and the spreadsheets are archived. Tom reports that the derailleur hangers are, for once, where the app says they are.
